Patsy J. Draper returned to her Heavenly Father Oct. 12, 2016, after a long battle with lung cancer. She was born April 24, 1929, in Milford, Utah. She was a great fighter, surprising her doctors, blessing her family with years beyond what was projected. She worked until she was 77, retiring from the Department of Energy after 30 years of service. Loving to be with people, she continued working with a few of the DOE subcontractors, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, her grandson's real estate business and district court. She was preceded in death by her son, Billy. She is survived by her three daughters, Linda Sams (David), Ronna Hoesch (Ken) and Barbara Schoenmakers (Michael); her doting grandson, David Sams (Heather); six other grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, William C. Harvey (Nora); niece; nephew; and many stepgrandchildren. Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, with service following, both at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside service following at Palm Memorial Park-Downtown.
