Andrew Anderson, 71, died Saturday morning in a local hospital as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident. He was born on September 20, 1887, in Finland and had lived in the Eureka area since 1913. He was a retired millworker, and a member of the Kaleva lodge in Eureka.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Aina Anderson of Eureka; a daughter, Mrs. Anne Pittman of Eureka; a grandson, Stanley Pittman of Eureka, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 11 a.m. from cooper Mortuary Chapel of the Ferns, with Oliver Kaukonen and the Kaleva lodge officiating. Interment will follow in Ocean View Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 7 to 0 o'clock tonight.
Pallbearers will be John Karhuma, Jack Konu, Jalmar Numelin, Arvid Pritti, Jack Huttu and Matt Honka.
