He was born in Taftville Oct. 15, 1899, son of the late Octave and Diana Robichaud, and for a number of years had made his home in Norwalk. For the past 15 years he had resided in Norwich. A member of SS. Peter and Paul Church, he was a retired welder by trade.
Survivors include his widow, Rose (Hamel) Brochu; two daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Lorraine) White of Norwalk and Mrs. Eugene (Rita) Irwin of North Carolina; three sisters, Mrs. Edward Pearce and Mrs. Raymond Kirby, both of Norwich, and Mrs. Arthur Cadorette of Canada; three brothers, Rene Brochu of Jewett City, Charles Brochu of Lisbon and Aime Brochu of Canada; one grandson, Frank Milano of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:15 am from Dougherty Bros. Funeral Home, 327 West Main St.
