Stephen Gary Auman, 77 of Jena, Louisiana passed from this life on Saturday, October 8, 2016, at his residence in Jena, Louisiana.
He was born Saturday, March 4, 1939 in Randolph County, North Carolina,to the union of Arcus G. and Edith U. (Moore) Auman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jimmie Auman and Jack Auman.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Faye Yvonne (Ford) Auman of Jena; One son, David Auman & wife Shirley of McKinney, Tx., A daughter, Pamela Auman of Wilmington, N.C, sister, Betty Hughes Davis of Asheboro N.C.. Two sister-in-laws Mae Auman and Gloria Auman both of Asheboro, N.C.
A graveside service will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Welcome Home Cemetery with the Rev. Johnnie Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Welcome Home Cemetery, Grayson, LA. under the direction of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home of Jena, Louisiana.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are John Ray Smith, Eli Cooper, Darwin Fife, Richard Bradford, Sherman McDowell, and Douglas Prudhomme. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Day and Skeet Cooper.
