John Hartman, 24, died at Stonington Sunday at 4 o'clock of spasmodic colic after an illness of only a few hours. The young man was a farm hand and had been at work at Stonington only a few months. He had a good character, excellent habits and was universally liked. No one in Stonington knew where his parents lived but his former residence was suppose to be Reading, Pa.
The remains were interred in Mt. Zion cemetery, Christian county Monday. Efforts are being made to find the parents and notify them of his death.
