ROANOKE, VA - FREDERICK JOSEPH DeLAUNEY, 81, 1207 Dale Ave, SE, died Thursday at Roanoke Hospital.

He was a former electric welder for the Norfolk and Western Railroad.

Surviving are his wife, Macy Alley DeLauney, at home; a son, Ernest F DeLauney, Roanoke; sister, Mrs C C Swain Hagerstown; brothers, Lloyd and Mervin DeLauney, both of Sharpsburg, Md.

Services on Saturday at 4 pm at Lotz Funeral Home, Roanoke, Burial at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
