Lillian D. Cornett, 75, of the 4900 block of Farrington Drive, died October 22, 2001, at her residence.

A native of Norfolk, Mrs. Cornett was a graduate of Maury High School. She was a member of Little Creek Amphibious Base Chapel, and a former member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

The widow of Charles E. Cornett, she is survived by a daughter, Patricia Landau and husband, Don of Deltaville, Va.; two sons, Mike Cornett of Virginia Beach and John Cornett and wife, Cheryl of Chesapeake; three brothers, Melvin Decker and wife, Sarah of Norfolk, Al Decker and wife, Shirley of Norfolk and Robert Decker and wife, Sherry of Percyville, Va.; and four grandchildren, Travis, Shona, Rebecca and Ryan. She was predeceased by two sisters, Louise Miller and Marquerite Nichols and three brothers, Frank, George and Charlie Decker.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by Father Edward L. Richardson. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. where a Christian wake will be held at 8 p.m.
