Earl Orlando Swenson was born February 9, 1914 at York, North Dakota. As a child he moved with his parents to Alberta, Canada where he lived for seven years. The family then moved to the Flathead at Somers where Earl attended school. He also lived for a short time at Stryker, Montana, and for the past several years had been employed as a sawyer in tie mill work. He had been in failing health for some time and passed away October 13, 1942 in Kalispell at the age of 28 years. He was making his home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Swenson in Kalispell.
He is survived by his parents; also three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Smith of Troy, Montana, Mrs. Ted Burcham of Marlon, Montana and Margaret Swenson at home and his grandfather, Chris Swenson of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
