After a lengthy battle with COPD, Bonnie Ann Gossett, 69, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2016, in Shawnee, OK. Bonnie was born on February 6, 1947 to Edward (Johnnie) and Verria Franklin in Jeffersonville, IN. She lived in Arkansas as a young girl, but moved to Oklahoma City in 1958 where she graduated from Classen High School.

Bonnie was extremely talented and used her creativity in many different jobs. For years she worked at the Sportman's Country Club where she decorated for holidays, weddings, and many special occasions. She also enjoyed decorating her home and helping her children decorate for parties and the holidays. She had a knack for making something gorgeous out of something ordinary. Her attention to detail and perfection was admired by everyone who was lucky enough to see her skills at work.

Bonnie lost her mother, Verria, in March of this year and her father and step-fathers, John Miles and William Meyer also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons Allen and Darren Gossett, their wives Rae Ann and Rhonda, grandchildren Chase, Gage, Zackary and Tanner Rush and great grandson Alexander Gossett. She is also survived by her sister Teresa Jones along with several nieces and nephews.

There will be a viewing on Thursday, September 22, at Affordable Cremation in Oklahoma City from 4:00-5:00 p.m.
