Elizabeth Ann Olmstead , 70, of Kings Mountain, NC , passes away unexpectedly on June 26, 2020 at home. She was born in Mecklenburg County, NC to James Monroe Marlow and Clara Stinnett Marlow. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Gregory Olmstead, a son, Billy Paul Horne, a great granddaughter, Baby Belle Mode and sisters Diane Marlow and Paulette Marlow. Elizabeth was a published author, and one of the top 50 contributors to Find A Grave. She also enjoyed genealogy. She loved to travel and she visited over 40 states in her lifetime. She was an animal lover and loved to tell stories. Elizabeth was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Dennis Wayne Horne (Connie), Kings Mountain, NC; Billy Ray Horne (Linda Burr) Kings Mountain, NC; 1 Daughter: Cindy Michelle Horne (Shawn Netzley), Kings Mountain, NC; 1 Brother: James Mike Marlow, (Cindy) Troy, TX; 10 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren

All I can say is that I have had a full life.

Had a wonderful childhood, married two good men, had four wonderful children.

Always worked, have never been without a job, always made top money in positions I have had and still work.

Greg was my soul mate, there will never be another Greg.
