Bio

I have been asked by a few to update my "Bio" as it was taking offensively. I do not intend to offend anyone, it was simply my feelings. My mom wanted all of her work to be passed to her granddaughter (her namesake), as she invested a lot of time with her, they truly enjoyed this together. However, my granddaughters request went unanswered from the admin(s). Then I tried myself, being her daughter, but once again I went unanswered too. Then out of nowhere her memorials started to disappear, then they were gone.
I will not apologize for my grief, nor for anyone being offended by "my grief". I did and still do thank the friends and "sincere" members that gathered and maintain what they were able too. My mother traveled a lot, with family in many regions. In her nearly two decades of contributing, she did the foot work, and research for at minimum 95% of her 138,063 memorials, all of her 125,543 photos, and all of her 181,298 virtual flowers.
For anyone that takes offense to my grief, I am at a lose of words for you, except maybe to tell you to ask yourself, "why am I offended?"
Also, yes my mother did create her own memorial and write part of her own Bio. This is something she wanted to do, and she asked me to leave it when she finally got the honor to step thru that beautiful threshold. To reply to some that felt it necessary to say, YES, I did update my mothers memorial when she went home.

I am the daughter of Elizabeth (Liz) Olmstead, who once maintained a top 10 contributor. Although, I do not have the same passion for findagrave, as she did. I hold respect for all of the work, dedication, and compassion she clearly put into it daily. I have requested many close family members, I am sure I am missing a ton. I would had loved nothing more than to had been transferred all of her hard work. Unfortunately, that is not how findagrave works, as I did try. So to see my Mom's passion, and hard work torn apart by vultures, just trying to gain numbers, was very hurtful. I know that some are wholehearted friends of my mom's, and for yall, I am thankful that yall maintain the contributions yall were able to claim.
