She was born in Rupert, Idaho on June 11, 1928, to August and Erma Seaman Quarnstrom. Upon graduating from Declo High School in 1946, she married her sweetheart, Elmon N. Kidd on March 7, 1947 in Elko, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. June was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in various church callings.
June lived in Declo most of her life and enjoyed traveling to Arizona during the winter months with Elmon for many years. Her first job was at the Burley Telephone Office; she also helped on the family farm, and worked at the JR Simplot Company for a few years. June loved camping, fishing, dancing, crocheting, putting puzzles together, collecting rocks and playing cards. She loved nature and could name all of the birds and wild flowers along her many hikes. June played the Gutbucket with the local Old Time Fiddlers, while Elmon strummed his guitar. She had a contagious laugh and loved to visit with family and friends.
June is survived by her son, Ronald (Sandra) Kidd of Magna, Utah; daughter, Diana (Lynn) Murdock of Blackfoot; son, Leland (Ruth) Kidd of Burley; daughter, Vicki (Don) Burton of Burley; daughter, Kathy Blauer of Burley; daughter, Koralie (Blain) Burton of Burley; son, Norman (Crystal) Kidd of Montpelier; sister, Fae Jibson of Gooding; brother, Rex (Shirley) Quanstrom of Burley; sister, Alice Kowitz of Rupert; sister, Margaret (Richard) Pfeiffer of Rupert; sister, Linda (Rick) Birdsong of Rupert; 25 grandchildren; and 61 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 17, at the Declo LDS Stake Center, 213 West Main St., in Declo, with bishop Greg Osterhout officiating. Burial will be at the Rupert Cemetery.
