William John Walsh, 88, of Fort Thomas, formerly of Cold Spring, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Highlandspring of Fort Thomas, KY.
He was a retired salesman with Joseph A. Bank. Mr. Walsh is a former member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, a member of St. Thomas Parish in Ft. Thomas, KY and an avid University of Notre Dame fan. He is also a U.S. Army Veteran.
Mr. Walsh was born September 19, 1928 in Fort Thomas, KY to the late William and Bertha (nee: Carius) Walsh. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Alice H. (nee: Bessler) Walsh, Father, William J. Walsh, Mother, Bertha (nee: Carius) Walsh & Grandson, Jonathan Ware.
William is survived by his Daughters, Ann (Rick) Daeschner of Cincinnati, OH, Mary Johnson of Cincinnati, OH, Sons, Patrick J. (Charlotte) Walsh of Melbourne, KY, Michael J. (Mary) Walsh of Cincinnati, OH, Tim J. (Teri) Walsh of Millville, OH, Kevin J. (Megan) Walsh of Cincinnati, OH, 18 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation 9:00 am to 10:30 am, Friday, September 23, 2016 at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am, Friday, September 23, 2016, at the St. Thomas Church, Fort Thomas, Kentucky, with Rev. Msgr. John R Schulte, officiating. Burial will take place in St. Stephen Cemetery.
