William Walsh
William Walsh, 89, 1440 Evencrest Dr., Cincinnati, died Tuesday at Veteran's Hospital. We was a retired Master Sergeant with 30 years with the U. S. Army. He enlisted in 1898 and served in Puerto Rico, the Philippines, Texas and Panama. Sgt. Walsh served six years with the 10th Infantry at Ft. Thomas, and 10 years as a military instructor at the Covington Latin School. Survivors include a son, William J. Walsh, and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Jean Luebbers, both of Cincinnati; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Fredericks, Newport, and Mrs. Helen Botts, South Bend, Ind., and 10 grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:30 a. m. Friday at the Assumption Church, Mt. Healthy. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas. Visitation will be 4 to 9 p. m. today at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Ave., Cincinnati.
