In July 9, 1870 Census, lived in Milwaukee, Wisc , age 11, with father, Joseph, age 49, mother Catherina, age 43, and sister, Anna, age 13. Joseph was listed as a laborer, all were born in Bohemia. Value of owned home was $500.
Franks written account of family moves shows they first lived in Detroit, Mich for about 6 months. Afterwards, 5 weeks near Fort Atkinson, Iowa, and then almost 7 years in Milwaukee, Wisonsin. Then almost 5 years in Spring Bluff in Adams co., Wisconsin on a farm where he was married on 23 October 1879 to Marie Voborilova who was 20 years, 10-1/2 months old. They wedded in a courtroom at Friendship in Adams County, Wisc. by a Catholic Priest named pater (Father) Baylery of a French descent.
At that time this priest had to perform the serves of worshiping God ( in a ministerial building) because at that time there was not a Catholic Church there. Marie was of parents father Antonia ( Anthony) mother Antonie ( Antonette) Voborilova. born in Vasinoutech, called Vejvasky close to the city of Pacora , district Tabor in Bohemia. They came to America in 1877, 6th of June.
First chid, Vaclav ( Wesley )born in Spring Bluff, Wisc. July 1880 ... Second, third, forth and fifth sons born in Pisek, ND. .. 1881 to 1888 ..
Family Came to Prince George County in 1890. Lydia was the first born in Virgina in August. Remaining four children were also born in Virginia .
