Ella Linkenhoker Arrington, 84, of Hawthorne Rd., N.W., Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 9, 1996, while a resident of Camelot Hall, Salem.

Surviving are her husband, Calvin B. "Woolie Booger" Arrington Sr., Roanoke; sons and daughters-in-law, Calvin B. Jr. and Janet Faye Arrington, Vinton, George C. and Kristin Arrington, Elgin, S.C.; four grandchildren, Regina A. Meador, Roanoke, Lisa G. Arrington, Thaxton, Lawrence C. Arrington and Troy W. Arrington both of Elgin, S.C.; great-grandson, Christopher Arrington; two sisters, Virginia L. Wimmer and Lyndall L. Wimmer, both of Baltimore, Md.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, July 12, 1996, from Oakey's North Chapel. The Rev. John J. Hamric, Pastor of Airlee Court Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Oakey's North Chapel.
