Calvin B. Arrington, Sr., (Woolie Booger), 86, of Roanoke, formerly of Buchanan, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 1998.
He was predeceased by his wife, Ella Linkenhoker Arrington.
Mr. Arrington was a member of Airlee Court Baptist Church.
Surviving are his sons and daughters-in-law, Calvin B., Jr. and Janet Faye Arrington of Thaxton, George C. and Kristin Arrington of Elgin, S. C.; grandchildren, Regina A. Meador of Roanoke, Lisa G. Arrington of Thaxton, Lawrence C. Arrington and Troy W. Arrington, both of Elgin, S. C.; great-grandchildren, Christopher Arrington, Amanda, Ashley and David Craft; a brother, George Claude Arrington of Vinton; a sister, Lelia A. Law of Bassett and many special friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, October 9, 1998 from Oakey's North Chapel. Pastor John Hamric will officiate. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Oakey's North Chapel.
