Dorothy Boyd Berry, 91, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Autumn Care of Madison. She was born on May 23, 1925, and was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse James Boyd and Pearl Elizabeth Brooks Boyd; her husband, Fred Wilson Berry; five brothers; three sisters; one grandchild, Kevin Church; and one daughter-in-law, Lois Berry.
She is survived by her two daughters, Celestine Church and husband, Kenneth of Earlysville and Imogene Morris and husband, Steve of Lynchburg; one son, Mason Berry of Front Royal; seven grandchildren, Eric W. Berry, Regenia Frazier, Wendy Church, Belinda Mitchell, Ellen Thompson, Meghann Mathews, Meredith Dean; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison conducted by Chaplin Denise Vogt. Visitation will be on Monday, September 19, 2016, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
