Rose was born in Cleveland, Ohio, one of five children to George Albert Treadway and Phyllis Juanita Barnes Treadway.
Rosie's quiet strength and courage served her well through her two year battle with cancer. She put up a good fight until the very end at the young age of 55. She never gave up and always had hope. Her bright green eyes always had a sparkle in them even when she was hurting and when she laughed you knew it was genuine because it would put a you at ease.
She was a free spirit and enjoyed life: she loved sitting on a porch enjoying the company of family, friends and neighbors. She took life one day at a time and always gave it her best. Everyone that ever knew her experienced her as a kind, loving and generous person. She always gave 110 percent to anyone that was in need, sometimes to much, because there had been times when they took advantage of her, but she figured that was life and never judged them for what they did.
She treasured being an Aunt to five and a Great Aunt to seventeen. When she could she shared every moment of every day with someone she loved, through good times and bad. She believed she was blessed, and she was. We love you sis!
