Agnes Juanita "Juanita" Lakey Prettyman
December 31, 1914 - August 16, 2006
MULBERRY - Agnes "Juanita" Prettyman, 91, of Mulberry, died at 4:35 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006, at the Arma Care Center in Arma.
She was born Dec. 31, 1914, in Gross, to Clemith Eli and Stella Nichols Lakey.
She was raised in Gross and attended Gross schools.
She was a homemaker, and lived in the Mulberry area most of her life.
She married Bud Prettyman on Nov. 11, 1932, in Mulberry. He preceded her in death on Nov. 18, 1979.
She was a member of the Mulberry Holiness Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Wanda Prettyman Perkins of Pittsburg; three sons, Art Prettyman of Mulberry, Clem Prettyman of Joplin, Mo., and Jerry Prettyman of Mulberry; two sisters, Annabell Willey of Arma and Betty Lyden of Pittsburg; one brother, Leroy Lakey of Joplin; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters; and two brothers.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Bedene Funeral Home at Arma with the Rev. Leroy Hubbard officiating.
Burial will be at the Rosebank Cemetery in Mulberry.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at the Bedene Chapel in Arma.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Bedene Funeral Home of Arma.
