Gwendolyn Adkins Turner, age 84, of Paintsville died Tuesday September 13, 2016 at Mountain Manor. She was born in Whitehouse to the late Oscar and Ilda Ward Adkins, Surviving her death is four nephews and three nieces. Gwen was a member of the Highland Church of Christ, and was a nurse for the Paintsville Hospital. Graveside Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Friday September 16, 2016 at the Adkins Cemetery in Whitehouse, KY with J.M. Scott officiating. At her request there will be no visitation.
