Robert started his grade school work in Trinidad, CO. Some of his high school work was done in San Juan, Puerto Rico and he finished high school (Scientific Course) back in Trinidad, CO class of 1906. He graduated from Colorado State Agriculture Collage, at Fort Collins, CO class of 1911 as a Civil and Irrigation Engineer.
Between 19 11- 1919 he did engineering work for several railroads and oil and gas companies, at St Louis, MO, Oklahoma and Texas. Rob married Johanna at St. Louis, MO 22 July 1918.
1919 to 1935 he worked on Special engineering work in Antofagasta, Chile, Peru and Bolivia, with copper and Nitrate companies.
1935 to 1939 he worked as a construction and consulting engineer at Jacksonville, FL.
1939 to retirement he was with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as Inspector on Construction, special war work at Jacksonville, FL and finished his career as an estimator for the South Atlantic Div. of the Corps . of Engineers.
Rob and Jo had no children.
