Preceded in death by her husband Cecil Lawrence, son James Cecil Lawrence, two sisters, Roxie Hassell and Barbara Liestman and two brothers, Oswin and Norman Bagwell. She taught elementary school in Klein, Sugarland and Houston for 49 years and served as a Hosts Mentor at South Shaver Elementary, P.I.S.D. She was a member of Sunset United Methodist Church of Pasadena. She is survived by daughter-in-law, Retta Lawrence of Hampton, Va.; granddaughter, Ronda Williams and husband Tony of Hampton, Va.; grandson, Jim Lawrence of Hampton, Va.; sister and husband, Elsie and Willard Bay of Nacogdoches, Tx.; niece and husband, caretaker, Dot and Elvin Praytor of Pasadena; close friends, Mary Sue Webb; numerous nieces and nephews.
