Son of Sterling and Nancy Carter Johnston, He was born in Halifax County never married and stayed at the old home place.He is mentioned in his fathers will but it is noted in the estate papers that he died before his father.(Bef 1843) He was buried in the Family cemetery in an unmarked grave along Panacea Road in Littleton North Carolina. Death date is between 1838 and 1843.
