Deceased Name: Delila A. Higbee Delila Andersen Higbee 87, of Driggs, Idaho, died Oct. 25, 2001, at the Teton Valley Hospital in Driggs.

She was born March 12, 1914, in Teton City, Idaho, to Guy and Libbie Neibaur Andersen.

She had lived all of her life in southeast Idaho. On Aug. 14, 1930, she married Floyd Higbee in Driggs.

Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on Feb. 15, 1952.

An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in various positions, including Primary president, Stake Primary counselor, Relief Society president, chorister, choir leader and compassionate service leader. She was active in the Senior Citizens, Daughters of the Pioneers, and the local bowling leagues. She also loved to golf, quilt, garden, and do genealogy.

Survivors include two sons, DeWayne Higbee of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Ralph Higbee of Cooper City, Fla.; five daughters, Delila George Jensen of Pocatello, Lola Penn, LaRae Palazzolo of Salt Lake City, Janis Jim Egbert of Kimberly, Idaho, and Jean Dee Ripplinger of Driggs; two brothers, Ray Andersen of St. George, Utah, and Grant Andersen of Ogden, Utah; a sister, Helen Birch of Pocatello; 30 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother, a son, Guy Higbee, a grandson and a great-granddaughter. Funeral services were held Oct. 27 at the Driggs LDS Stake Center. Burial was at the Driggs Cemetery under the direction of the Valley Mortuary in Driggs.
