Floride Lunn Andrews peacefully passed away at the age of 96 on Monday September 5, 2016. She was born in Darlington County on December 15, 1919 the daughter of the late Walter Kemmery “Bud” Lunn Sr. and Mary Adelaide Dubose Lunn. Mrs. Andrews was a graduate of Hartsville High School and Queens College Class of 1941. She worked at Sonoco Products as a secretary after graduating college, and at what is now known as, the Farm Service Agency in Darlington for numerous years. She was a life-long member of Swift Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Andrews is survived by a son, Marion L. (Janis) Andrews and a daughter, Miriam Andrews (Todd) Roberts of Benton, PA, by grandchildren David Roberts, Brian Roberts, Jessica Andews, Gabe Andews and Ingrid (Jason) Lee and three great grandchildren. She is survived by a sister-in-law Faye Lowder Lunn of Hartsville, by three nieces, Jackie Kirven, Bonnie Lunn (Bobby) Steen both of Hartsville and Joy Kirven of Charleston, by nephews David (Georganne) Kirven of Wedgefield, SC, Joel Kirven, Kale Kirven, Charles Lunn and Kem (Emily) Lunn all of Hartsville, and Greg (Gayle) Lunn of Murrells Inlet. She was preceded in death by her husband Bascom R. Andrews, her son Richard K. “Dicky” (Pat) Andrews, two brothers, Lawrence Dubose “Bubba” Lunn and Walter Kemmery “Bug” Lunn Jr, two sisters, Mary Elizabeth “Mamie” Lunn Kirven and Miriam “Sud” Lunn. Funeral arrangements will be handled by Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home of Darlington. A visitation will be held at the Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home on Wednesday September 7 from 5PM to 7PM. A graveside funeral service is scheduled at 11AM on Thursday September 8 at the Grove Hill Cemetery.
