Anne J. Schweitzer of Doylestown, formerly of Chalfont, died Friday, Sept. 2, 2016. She was 78.

Born in Glenside, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Hannon) Janke. Ms. Schweitzer was a graduate of Lansdale Catholic High School.

She was employed at the Philco Ford Electronics plant on Church Road in Lansdale and later The Visteon Co. Ms. Schweitzer was a member of the Auto Workers Union.

Surviving are her brothers, Edward Janke (Betty) of Hatfield, and George Janke (Teresa) of Warminster, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, John, Joseph and Robert Janke, and her sisters, Rosemary Donovan and Margaret Cave.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main St., Lansdale, PA 19446, followed by her funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham Township.
