Mrs. Sallee attended Frankfort Schools and worked 15 years at Mallory Controls, from which she retired. In 1975 she moved to Logansport where she owned and operated the Clay Closet. She was a member of Women of the Moose and the Eagles' Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Sallee was born March 7, 1930, in Toledo, Ohio, to Harold and Alice Wessell Jones. She married Alva M. Sallee Jr. in 1946, and he died in June 1974.
Surviving are her companion Chuck Luey of Logansport; three sons, Harold L. and John K. of Frankfort and Richard L. of Mulberry; two daughters, Mrs. Joe (Linda Sue) Root of Frankfort and Mrs. Ronald (Pam) Martin of Zionsville.
One brother preceded her in death.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Genda Funeral Home with Keith Ogorek officiating.
Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.
