Her children are Gwendolyn Sue Szitar Steen, John Stanley Szitar, Brenda Kay Szitar Cook, Teddy Joe Szitar, Debra Elaine Szitar Blalock, and Sherry Vohncelle Szitar Neal. She had 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
She was survived by 2 brothers, Wayland Gerald Clanton and Danny Royce Clanton of Golden MO, and Wanda Beth Clanton Gortney of Kingsland, Texas.
