Aubrey Eckols, age 84 of Seguin, passed away on Feb. 17, 2010.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 18 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 3-7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Feb. 19, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Bill Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Concrete Cemetery in La Vernia.
Aubrey was born on Aug. 12, 1925 in Wilson County to Ira and Olivia Markgraf Eckols. He is preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Louise Eckols, his daughter, Audrey Louise Houlton, his parents, two brothers and one sister. Survivors include his daughter, Linda and husband Jim; son Aubrey Allen; grandchildren Brian and wife Debbie, Tammy and husband Billy, Susan and husband James, Jennifer and husband Eric, Lydia and husband Lee, Amanda and Eric; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Alfred Eckols; numerous nieces and nephews.
