Craig is survived by his mother, Callie Bland Daniels of Fayetteville. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank S. Daniels, his grandparents Alsie and Rebecca Bland of Bettie, NC and Arlie and Maude Daniels of Cedar Island, NC.
He is also survived by two sisters, Frankie Green and her husband Bob of Augusta, GA, and Yvonne Daniels of Fayetteville; as well as a brother, Barry Daniels and his companion Kimberly "Beppi" Smith of Fayetteville. He was also loved by nieces and nephews in Fayetteville, Augusta and Atlanta. In recent years, he was baptized at the Manna Church of Fayetteville.
Craig loved to be around people and animals. He was always smiling and optimistic; friendly and kind. He loved beach vacations, sports and family gatherings. In 1979, he graduated from Westover High School and attended Western Carolina University. Craig was an avid history buff.
He was also a member of Creasy Proctor Masonic Lodge.
Many thanks to Chris Rogers, his caretaker this year. Craig will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and his three dogs, Dollar, Rosco and Jake.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 4, 2016, at 2 pm in Jernigan Warren Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 2 pm at the funeral home. The burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park West with Masonic Rites.
Craig and his smile and contagious laughter will be in our hearts forever.
