Married Anson Coleman Mason on Nov. 16, 1938, in Pownal. He predeceased her on April 15, 1991.
She was employed for 39 yrs as town clerk and treasurer for Pownal VT until she retired in 1991. She also served as an auditor in Pownal and on the Board of Civil Authority.
Member of Second Congregational Church. She was a 4-H volunteer; served as a trustee of the Camp Ondawa Association; and a volunteer at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. She was also an active member of the Bennington Grange member for 80 years, serving in varous offices over the years
Survived by four children (1 son and 3 daughters); nine grandchildren; five great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; two great-great-grandsons; and a brother.
Predeceased by a daughter, Joyce Mason, in 1951; a grandson, Kenneth Cottrell; and a sister, Mary Hoy.
