She never married, but as an adult lived with her family in Bourges, France. She, her sister Marie-Françoise Benoist de Courville, and their mother were imprisoned in the Couvent des Ursulines during the Revolution for having harbored Catholic religious in their home. Her mother died while in captivity, but she and her sister were eventually freed in October 1795.
She died in the Rue Porte-Saint-Jean, Bourges on 6 October 1832 and was buried with other members of her family in the church of Saint-Outrille-du-Château.
