Pauline Katherine Smith Heafner, 90, of Hickory, was a daughter to the late Ray Smith and Leafie Long Smith. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years, Grady Anders Heafner; sister, Louise Smith Lanier; and son-in-law, Steven Maske.
She has always been a caring and loving person, even up to her last days. One of her greatest joys was being a cheerleader at Belmont High School in Belmont.
Interment in Gaston Memorial Park.
