Lanny Hugh Eubanks of Lubbock passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the age of 71. Lanny was born on March 28, 1945 in Amarillo to Barron and Irene (Mathis) Eubanks. Lanny graduated from Melrose High School and moved to Lubbock where he met and married Carolyn McDowell on November 15, 1968. He worked as an Optician, for 40 years.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carolyn; daughters, Milissa Hamby and husband James, Shonna Wall and boyfriend Lee Holden, Kristie Harrell and husband Jeff; three brothers, Don Eubanks and wife Bonnie, Kenny Eubanks and wife Gail, David Eubanks and wife Irlene; two sisters, Paula Sisneros and husband Alex, Darla Cochran and husband Larry; three grandchildren, Ashton Hamby, Tori Hamby, and Trevor Wall; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Lanny was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister.
