Spencer H. Ahlmer, 91, loving father, grandfather, brother and dear friend, passed away peacefully from natural causes on g 2016. He was born 25 May 1925 in Ogden, Utah a son of Gustaf R. and Theressa Margaret Hunsaker Ahlmer. He was raised by his grandparents after the passing of his mother when he was 5.
Spencer served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army from 1944-1946, during WWII, receiving many medals for his service.
Spencer was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving faithfully in many callings. He never missed a month of home teaching.
He married Mavis Grover on 10 Jun 1948 in the Logan LDS Temple; she passes away in 2004.
He was very active throughout his life; hunting, fishing and gardening. He enjoyed taking care of their home, garden and flowers; he also loved oil painting.
Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
