Mrs. Jo Frances Morefield, age 84, of Mayfield, KY died at 11:26 AM Friday, August 26, 2016 at the Mills Health & Rehab in Mayfield. Frances was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Mayfield, was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter – Danielle Scott of Mayfield; four sons – Frankie “Frank” (Debra) Morefield of Wingo, KY, Richard Morefield of Mayfield, Richard “Charlie” (Martha) Morefield of Murray, KY and Gary Allen, Jr. of Mayfield; sister – Wilma Green of Dexter, KY; brother – Dick Overby of Nashville, TN; 8 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband – Daniel M. Morefield; two sons – Kenny Morefield and Anthony Malone Morefield; two daughters – Teresa Morefield and Robbie Morefield Hampton; brother- Tim Overby; brother- Curtis Overby; grandson- Micah Puckett; great-grandson- Gary Mitchell Allen III; her parents Elvis F. & Margarete (Thompson) Overby.
Funeral services for Frances will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 29, 2016 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Ky with Rev. Carl Butler & Bro. James Stovall officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends are invited to call after 5:00 PM on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.
