He was born March 18, 1917, in Versailles, KY to John and Eliza (Clark) Thomas.
Mr. Thomas had retired from the Fostoria Foundry and was a member of Tiffin chapter of the Disabled American Veterans having been an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by a son, John, Fostoria; and a sister, Katherine Ketcham, West Millgrove. He was preceded in death by two sisters.
Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday at Greenlawn Cemetery, Tiffin, Chaplain William Lang officiating.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Turner-Engle Funeral Home, Tiffin.
