Mrs. Edith Berry, daughter of Mrs. Margaret Murphy, 622 Broadway, died in her home in Kansas City, Saturday, of heart trouble.

Until thirteen years ago, Mrs. Berry resided in Quincy, where she was born May 18, 1874. Then, she moved to Spokane, Washington, removing to Kansas City four years ago, where she and Mr. Berry had since made their home.

Mr. Berry, who was a druggist in Kansas City, was enrolled in the U. S. Army, becoming a First Lieutenant in the Medical Corps. It is believed by the relatives that he is now on his way across, as they have not had any word from him for several days.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Berry leaves her mother, Mrs. Murphy, two half sisters, Mrs. Mary Hosford of Quincy, and Mrs. N. T. Potter of Warren, Missouri, and one half brother, G. W. Murphy of Quincy.

The remains arrived this morning from Kansas City, and the funeral was held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in Woodland cemetery.
