Mrs. Winnie Sue Bess Dycus, 74, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2002, at White Oak Manor in Shelby.
She retired as a self-employed restaurant operator and was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan Rush Bess and Blanche Canipe Bess; her husband, Tom Hord Dycus; two sons, Rev. Richard Dycus and Tommy Dycus; and two brothers, Paul Bess and Bruner Bess.
She is survived by a son, two grandsons, seven granddaughters, three brothers, three sisters, and 13 great-grandchildren.
