Daughter of John and Keziah (Anderson) Armistead. Married Alban W. Weaver 13 March 1836 in Walton Co., GA. From "Wayfarers in Walton", "As Sherman approached Atlanta and was shelling the city every 10 minutes, Nancy Armistead Weaver, wife of Alban Weaver formerly of Walton County, was standing in her doorway at the corner of Ivy and East Ellis streets when a shell landed nearby, killing her infant daughter Lizzie in her arms and wounding the mother. The Weavers fled to another county."
According to "Biographical Souvenir of the States of Georgia and Florida" published 1889 by F.A. Battey & Company, Chicago: p. 826 (Sketch of Dr. John L. Weaver) Alban and Nancy (Armistead) Weaver had 11 children of which 5 were raised to maturity. She died 18 March 1870.
Grave record was found in the USGENWEB archives for Cedar Hill cemetery (Section 3) submitted by Doris Dixon and Betty Smith. Though the record does not provide a first name for the grave, it shows that she was the "wife of A. W. Weaver" and was buried on 19 March 1870 which coincides with her death date of 18 March 1870.
