They farmed in the Madison, Meadow Grove and Pierce communities. They retired in 1960 and moved to Norfolk. She was survived by her husband, 3 daughters [ 2 with husbands}, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters: Mrs. Irene Scheer at Norfolk, Mrs. NIck Schmidt at Omaha, Mrs. Irvin [Ellen} Jones at Omaha.
