Woodrow Francis "Jim" Crumbacker, 88, of New Windsor, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2001, at his home. Born July 3, 1912, in Carroll County, he was the son of the late Arthur Phillip and Carrie Mae Waltz Crumbacker. He was the husband of Carrie Mae Scheller Crumbacker, whom he married Oct. 2, 1937, in New Windsor. He was a lifelong farmer. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children Woodrow A. Crumbacker and Emerson L. Crumbacker, both of New Windsor, Ronnie W. Crumbacker of Westminster, Charles N. Crumbacker of Taneytown, and Anita M. Galley of Sykesville; siblings Alice Manahan and Evan Crumbacker, both of Westminster; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
