Robert A. Biedenbach, 81, of Beverly, Ohio, died Friday, August 19, 2016 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 29, 1934 in Washington County, Ohio, son of Albert and Olive Musgrove Biedenbach.
He had worked at Interlake Steel, was a farmer and truck driver, and retired as a bus driver for the Wolf Creek School District after 17 years of service. He was a member of the Interlake Retiree’s Club, Churchtown Senior Citizens and loved to camp and play Euchre.
He was married April 23, 1955 to Dorothy Starling Biedenbach who survives. Also surviving two children, Larry Biedenbach and wife Kathy of Beverly and Roberta Thieman of Marietta; two grandchildren, Brent Biedenbach of Marietta and Amy Starnes and husband Robert of Marietta; a sister, Marie McNabb of Waterford; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Amelia Pottmeyer; a brother, Wilfred Biedenbach; three half-sisters, Freda Rauch, Helen Biedenbach and Laura Schoeppner; three half-brothers, Clements Biedenbach, Herbert Hughes and David Hughes.
A visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Tuesday August 23, 2016 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly. Burial will be the Smiths Chapel Cemetery at a later date.
