(April 5, 1927 - August 19, 2016) Wilson Bond Jr., 91, died on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Baptist Health-Lexington Hospital.
Wilson was born on April 5, 1927 in Richmond, Kentucky to the late Wilson and Cora Langdon Bond. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and he was the owner of Wilson Bond & Associates Architects and Engineers. Wilson attended the First Presbyterian Church and he enjoyed playing golf and building model airplanes.
Other than his parents Wilson is preceded in death by his wife Sarah Davidson Bond as well as his first wife Ann Simmons Bond and one daughter Allyson Bond. Survivors include one daughter, Leslie Penn (Robert “Bobby” Penn) of Richmond, KY; one son, Wilson Bond III (Cecelia) of Summerville, South Carolina; two granddaughters, Allison Jean Bond and Anne Hilton Bond both of Summerville, South Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Monday, August 22, 2016 in the Richmond Cemetery.
