Peter was the only surviving son of John, the Norman ancestor, who arrived in American in 1678. His father, John Condict, is the ancestor of nearly all lines bearing the surnames of Condit or Condict.
Peter's memorial, gravestone is shared with his father John at: John CondictFind A Grave memorial # 12179447 , which also names others of the Condict family, including the first three generations of the family with surnames of Condict, and some of the fourth generation.

Peter married Mary Harrison of Samuel Harrison lineage of Newark, NJ.

Those of the Condit lines and the Condit authored/indexed genealogy books re-named him Condit (or is it now Cundict?), with carryover to the internet as though this was his surname, when it was documented by family (not others who likely misspelled the names).
Source for Surname: New Jersey state archivists & family correct some of the many misspellings of the surname (Canduct & Cundict & Candet), to Condict as early as 1695 in the New Jersey Archives: Colonial Documents relating to the Colonial History of the state of New Jeresey, V. XV, at pages 530-533 & in the index, (Trenton, New Jersey: 1891), by Ricord & Nelson.

Note: The New Jersey Historical Society that houses the famous Revolutionary War-era diary of Jemima Condict (of Daniel of Samuel Condict),documents the family surname as Condict--with the second "c", and not as Condit.
Jemima's brother, the Rev. Ira Condict, the third president of Rutgers University, also had the same surname (a memorial on this site: Ira Condict

Note: There are others (on this site of 150 million memorials) who have created memorials with shared headstones, and so Peter shares this memorial with his father John Condict, the ancestor.

Peter and Mary's seven children were: Mary Condict Gould? (the only child/grandchild of John the ancestor who is not on the memorial); Samuel, whose gravestone is marked as Conduit (likely misspelled?),as it is contrary to family history/documentation.

Nathaniel's First Presbyterian Church of Morristown, New Jersey say Cundit (birth), but say Condict for marriage & burial. Philip Condict & Isaac Condict and all six grandsons of John are noted on this family memorial gravestone as Condict--with the second "c".

Anna Byram (of Abigail Alden), wife of Peter Condict, Jr.,a great, great granddaughter of John and Priscilla Mullins Alden of the Mayflowers is also inscribed on the family memorial.

Please note, that Deborah Lindsley, was NOT the birth mother of Peter Condict ( of John the ancestor), and had no known bloodlines via her marriage union with John Condict,I. She reportedly had a son, John, with John who died young, and left no other issue with John Condict, although she was married before, it is said, and had a daughter Mary, who married a Capt. John Morris (burial at Rosemont cemetery, Newark, NJ). Source: Condit authored/indexed genealogy books (1916) at page 10, said to be buried at the Orange Burying Ground, d. 12/10/1761.
