Father of Jabez Condit
------------------------------
Philip's parents were Peter Condict (Cunditt, Cundit are also early surname spelling variations), and Mary Harrison (of Samuel Harrison of Newark, NJ). His six siblings were: Samuel, Peter, John, Nathaniel, Mary(Gould) & Isaac. The Morristown, New Jersey First Presbyterian Church has their church records, and most of the family is buried there, and denoted on the family memorial @ FAG# 12179447 are the names of the first three generations.

Please note that DAR often misspells "historically documented" surnames --using their algorithm, Soundex, and this ancestor surname was spelled with the 2nd "C" and therefore spelling correctly and historically correct as Condict, not Condit.
Phillip is on his wife Sarah's headstone. And see that DAR certificate misspelled the surname also.
