SHEDERICK was a colorful person. He was a skillful hunter and could pull out rattlesnakes from their holes and kill them with his bare hands. He was a friend to the Indian. He sacrificed 2 sons in the Civil War, James and William. He was married to Phebe Prickett. They had eleven children together.
