Velven L. Allen, 77, of Eldon, Iowa died November 27, 1996 in Ottumwa, Iowa. He was born on Aug. 19, 1919 in Wapello County to William K. & Meta Elizabeth Tetmeyer Allen. He married Avis Bull in Eldon,Iowa, Sept. 21, 1947. He was a mechanic in Eldon most of his life, he also built Race cars and owned them. He is survived by three sons, Raymond Keith, Russell Wayne, Richard Dale Allen.; three brothers, Elmer, William, Donald Allen; he was preceded in death by one son Roy Edward Allen.; two sisters, Johnetta Wallace & Adiline Rickhammer.
