Funeral services for Ellis BROCK will be conducted at 2:00 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home here. The Rev. J. N. A. DOWNEY will be the officiating minister, and burial will be made in Grandview Cemetery. The Bloomfield Odd Fellows Lodge will conduct graveside rites. The body lies in state at the funeral home.

Mr. BROCK, 74 years old, died unexpectedly at 11:45 o'clock Tuesday morning. He became ill only a short time before he died. He was born in Jackson township on June 19, 1881, and was the son of Dave and Samantha (BYERS) BROCK. He lived in Bloomfield for several years and was a well known painter. From here he moved to the Plummer community, where he engaged in farming.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Mary (COOPER) BROCK; three brothers, Emerson BROCK, of Indianapolis; Lester BROCK, of Chicago, and Earl BROCK, of Bloomfield and two sisters, Mrs. Naomi LAUGHLIN, of Greensburg, and Mrs. Louella DAILEY, of St. Paul, Indiana.
